One to One Coaching

work of coaching can transpire. At D'Cern Consulting we are passionate about assisting business

leaders and key individuals to enhance their performance, or attain specific goals by helping them

understand their motivations, remove barriers and form new behaviours.

Team Coaching

We support groups of senior managers and executives by laying a foundation that is conducive to

heightened awareness through intentional stretch dialogues. Initially, we engage with key

stakeholders to understand the strategic objectives of the coaching engagement before working

with each team to create the parameters necessary to unlock potential and enable positive change.


The following psychometric assessments are utilised to help our clients understand their strengths,

preferences and development areas in order to facilitate personal learning. They can also be used in

a team setting to enhance self-awareness, bonding and communication.

SDI 2.0

(Strength Deployment Inventory) is a strengths assessment about an individual and how they relate to others. It measures your core motives, how you experience conflict, your strengths, and how strengths can be overdone, limiting interpersonal effectiveness. With these four views, it delivers personalised insight to help you and your teams build trust and form productive relationships.


(Risk Type Compass) is a personality assessment tool developed to evaluate the differences in the way individuals perceive, react to and manage risk, and how this affects their decision making. The tool supports the cognitive diversity required to maximise effectiveness and avoid 'group think', 'risk polarisation' and 'cognitive dissonance'.


Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument) is the world's leading thinking styles assessment tool. It identifies your preferred approach to emotional, analytical, structural, and strategic thinking as well as providing you with a visual representation of your preferred thinking and communication style.


is the leading measure of Emotional Intelligence. It focuses on the impact of emotional intelligence at work and offers suggestions for working more effectively with colleagues and clients. The model addresses five composite areas with fifteen subscales including interpersonal relationships, empathy self-regard and impulse control. The EQ-360 adds another layer of information through a multi-rater perspective from peers, managers, direct reports and others on how an individual leverages their Emotional Intelligence.

Hogan Assessments 

provide an excellent lens that focuses on the everyday characteristics that influence a person’s ability to get on with others. They also look at the unconscious tendencies that emerge under stress or pressure and limit career potential. Core motives, values and unconscious biases are all explored concurrently.

Team Pulse Checks

Creating and maintaining healthy team cultures can represent significant challenges. Measuring
